About Me

I am Priyanka, by profession a IT person. I am part of the big population of the city which is called the IT hub of India. The city of many dreams , many lakes , many gardens and many people ..city of Bengaluru …

Being in this industry for close to 9 years now i have seen many ups and downs… but there is something that keeps me moving..ย I too cry and laugh, but then I move on…

In one day we all feel so many emotions… we are sad, we are frustrated, we are tired, we are exhausted, we are cranky, we are moody….

Traffic, Work, Boss, Colleagues, Friends Family & Relatives at times , Office Food-court for sure all the time, Sarcasm, Competition… there are many of those things to make us feel low in one day, but in between all this… we still smile, the very same things make us laugh our hearts out… We have moments when we feel at peace, when we get the energy back to fight the next battle…

But every day i have this realization that such moments are getting fewer and fewer… who should we blame for all this… maybe everyone, or maybe no one, or may be we should just blame ourselves….

But are we going to gain anything by blaming anyone ….No !

So i have decided to start this blog, where i will keep a note of at-least one thing that brought smile on my face.. where i will put a more conscious effort in appreciating the good things around… and jot down at least one thing that had my attention today and the moment i want to be thankful to, for de-stressing me for that day….

What a refreshing idea Priyanka. So true. Easy these days to get swept up in the rush of life, and miss or not take a moment out to appreciate what our lives have to offer us. Thanks for sharing a bit of what is in your heart and creating this venue.

  17. Hi Priyanka,

Your words are quite relevant, In fact, it’s very heart-wrenching, we live in a world where trust between individuals is diminishing. We live in big cities, we earn money, we strive hard to climb up the career ladder. But all these things don’t give us the real sense of contentment. We live in big cities where millions live, but we as an individual is a nobody, we face identity crisis. We are becoming lonely.
Sometimes I think about my grandparents, parents and relatives. How they have lived a fulfilling life inspite of their meagre earning. How they have filled my childhood with joy and richness. We used to live in villages, we may not have all facilities like in cities, but I don’t feel empty there in my village.
Anyway life is life, We human beings are like pieces of straw.
We should be very thankful of good things around us. As according to the Law of Attraction, the more grateful you become for good things around you, more good will happen to you.
    Your last paragraph implies it.
“So i have decided to start this blog, where i will keep a note of at-least one thing that brought smile on my face.. where i will put a more conscious effort in appreciating the good things aroundโ€ฆ and jot down at least one thing that had my attention today and the moment i want to be thankful to, for de-stressing me for that dayโ€ฆ.”

    Good Life
